AG IS IN THE HOUSE !!!

I feel like Dad is gone and I found the keys to the car! Pete must have been weak when he gave me permission to post in his place. No Pro’s and Con’s this week, but I’ll provide the Weekly Recap. I won’t tell you how well or not well Pete forecasted, but a few notes on the games.

Bills @ Lions: Lions 1st win and 161 yards from Roy Williams

Panthers @ Ravens: Delhomme 365 yards! ½ went to Smith. That team is a leg break away from going down.

Bengals @ Bucs: Chucky smiles, where was that Bengals attack?

Texans @ Cowboys: As much as I despise TO, who can argue against 3 TDs.

Giants @ Falcons: Barber and Shockey dual was enough.

Eagles @ Saints: Horn finally got love, its been awhile!

My C-Hawks @ Rams: Great game, Hasselbeck/Branch and Bulger/Holt connections would have been fun to watch. I’ll catch it on NFL replay.

Titans @ Redskins: Gibbs, get NASCAR off your mind! Portis showed up! Henry ran for 178 yards!

Dolphins @ Jets: Be reported as “Questionable” on the injury report and catch 106 yards?

Chargers @ 49ers: I lost because of the chargers left Tomlinson in too long while he scores 4 TDs.

Raiders @ Broncos: Broncos won in a lackluster game; played down to the opposition. Does Art Shell look disconnected from his team to you?

Bears @ Cardinals: Ok, Cards lost, but Leinart had a good enough game to win. He shouldn’t be disappointed in his play except his team leveled off after halftime. With Grossman throwing 4 picks, the Bears defense and special teams won that game. Arizona played exceptional defense also. This game was both won and lost in the last 3 minutes. Bears are fortunate they got out of Arizona with a win. Dennis Green also lost it in the post game news conference.

I can’t let this horrible Monday Night Football broadcast go without saying something. It isn’t working. Those three in the booth don’t bring excitement to the game. Tirico is ok, but I don’t like the pretend “adversarial” relationship between Theismann and Kornheiser. Their personalities just don’t work. Barkley got way too much time in the booth.

Well, that’s it for tonight. I don’t know when Dad will be back so I’ll keep going until I hear him pulling up in the driveway. I wonder if he’ll realize the mileage has changed. I’ll just tell him I had to make sure it still drove ok. Think he’ll buy it?

The "Quit Your Whining AG" eddition of W.T.L.F!........and picks.

I knew you couldn't stay away.
Well took a 10 hour road-trip before coming into work tonight, so I cannot be held responsible for this column....or it's spelling.

Without any ado, here is What To Look For week 6!....and picks.

Buffalo at Detroit
Look for McGahee to hit the endzone...bringing his year TD total to two.
Look for one of many lame games this week, and look for Kevin Jones to continue to struggle.
This game really just stinks...neither of these teams is doing anything, or going anywhere. It will be a close one, but look for the running game to be the difference.
BUF

Carolina at Baltimore
Look for Steve Smith to reclaim his #1 WR on the team spot with 100 and a score.
Look for Jamal Lewis to lose some carries to Musa Smith....this might be the poor man's Jones-Drew.
Denver exposed an undefeated Ravens team that had really just not played anyone. Carolina (like Denver) has a solid defense. No big fantasy number in this game except for Smith.
CAR

Cincinnati at Tampa Bay
Look for Chad Johnson to FINALLY be the star of his team.
Look for Gradkowski to have another solid day...not worth picking up, but solid.
Cincinnati got spizanked by New England, and had an extra week to think about it....Tampa Bay is about to have some serious points dropped on them, but I think they will keep it closeish.
CIN

Houston at Dallas
Look for Houston to continue to look stupid for passing on Bush without any trace of a running game.
Look for TO to be the #1 receiver on his team...whining helps.
Texas against Texas....too bad they both can't lose. The loss to the Eagles has got to have the 'Boys fired up to beat up the AAA Texans. Not even Bledsoe is going to be able to lose this one.
DAL

N.Y. Giants at Atlanta
Look for Manning to have a great game. He has too many weapons around him to not be able to get it done against the Falcon's secondary.
Look for Vick to get injured. I'm calling it right here.
I don't like this game. I'm not attracted to either of these teams. I think they are both 2nd teir teams that get air-time because of the names of their QBs.
NYG

Philadelphia at New Orleans
Look for McNabb to Baskett again...he will be the #1 WR on the team.
Look for Colston to bounce back and Bush to hit paydirt again.
I do like this game. We have two feel good stories. You have McNabb who has overcome injuries, and TO and has brought his team to be a serious contender. Then you have the Saints...are they really 4-1? Good story...but this good story isn't going to have a happy ending.
NO

Seattle at St. Louis
Look for the Seahawks passing game to finally start producing....can we get some DJax and Branch love???
Look for a shootout...but look for Jackson to be held out of the endzone AGAIN!
These two teams are going to air it out all day long. Huge game for all WRs...except Burleson and Curtis. If you have any players in this game you better think twice before benching them.
SEA

Tennessee at Washington
Look for VY to out-produce Brunell.....believe it or not.
Look for Portis to be a work-horse and the only O for the 'Skins.
Washington got flat-out embarrassed last week against the Giants, while the Titans actually kept things scary for the Colts. I think VY is either going to get progressively better, or get killed...we shall see.
WAS

Kansas City at Pittsburgh
Look for just about nothing from Huard, and a 2 TD day for LJ....if he's healthy.
Look for Roethlisberger to get pulled.
Big Ben just isn't the same....he's done...at least for this year, and so are the Steelers. Kansas City has a chance to actually keep things close in the AFCW with a win. IF they can ride LJ they win...they lose if Haurd has to win it for them.
KC

Miami at N.Y. Jets
Look for Harrington to open things up...thus Ronnie Brown will look better.
Look for Washington to be flying off the waiver-wire next week....you heard me.
The Jets 0-41 loss last week really opened up some eyes. I admit it, I was on the Pennington bandwagon...71 yards and 3 INTS later, I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe it was just a bad day.....speaking of bad days, when Harrington is your starting QB you're bound to have a bad day.
NYJ

San Diego at San Francisco
Look for the 2nd biggest spanking of the week...behind a 2+ TDer from LT2.
Look for NO fantasy options from the Niners this week.
LT2 ALERT!!!! Rushing, receiving, passing......kicking.....Tomlinson is going to be all over the place. He owes it to us who have suffered over the past few weeks for mediocrity. Again, the 49ers are moving in the right direction, but they are no where near where they need to be.
SD

Oakland at Denver
Look for the Raiders to get shut out of the endzone.
Look for Plummer to continue to keep these games close.
Hey...guess what? The Raiders are the worst team in football. Denver is a loss to STL away from being 4-0. Big wins against BAL, and more importantly NE makes me think the Brocos team is the real deal. Denver rolls.
DEN

Chicago at Arizona
Look for the biggest slamming of the week....start your Bears!
Look for me in the stands....taking in my first NFL game....GO BEARS!!!
Here it is folks....my first live NFL game....MLB? been there.....NBA? done that.....NHL? yes even them, but never the NFL.....won't be a good game, but at least I'll see my team. If you have any ability to pity someone, you need to direct that pitty to a Mr. Matt Leinart....he derserves it.
CHI

Alright.....that's it....now it's go time.
Have a great weekend.
On a side-note, I will be in Phoenix over the weekend, so FFN will not get updated because......I won't be with my computer.....I will be away.....if I can get a "fill in" for when I'm gone, I will.

AG? Can you deliver?

W.T.L.F. Coming.......soon.

What To Look For will be coming, but it's going to have to wait till tonight.
I've had a busy night combined with a condensed night because I have to drive to Texas...I will get this done tonight along with my picks for the weekend's games.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it will only make you appreciate me more.
Don't like it?
Complain about it in the comments section....if enough of you get in there you can all just talk junk about me...have fun!

see you 2night.

Week 6 QH

Week SIX Quick Hits!

WOW!
Is it just me, or is there just zero news this week.
Reallly the biggest news is that there are 6 teams on a bye this week....who are they?
Good question.
The Browns
Packers
Colts
Jaguars
Vikings
and Patriots are ALL on byes this week!!
Is this just killing your fantasy team???
Next week is going to be a killer too, with another 6 teams on byes...as opposed to the usual 4!

Here's the biggest news I could dig up:

WR Donte' Stallworth (PHI)
Looks like Donte' won't be practicing today, so you might be wise to go in another direction this week....maybe you can get Baskett....if you're really lucky!

RB Brian Westbrook (PHI)
Coach Reid is denying that Westbrook will need surgery, and there was only very little swelling after Sunday's game....who knows what all this means, but you can't say I didn't give you some status.

QB Joey Harrington (MIA)
Will be starting. Will this help open up the Dolphins O? I sure hope so, but don't count on it.

WR Larry Fitzgerald (ARI)
Out 2-5 weeks with a hammy??? NO! From what it looks like, 5 weeks seems to be more realistic.

RB Larry Johnson (KC)
Edwards is giving every indication that LJ is fine, and that he should practice Wednesday and play Sunday.

WR Roy Williams (DET)
Suffered a stinger and is listed as day-to-day....doesn't sound too serious.

Well if I missed anything let me know.
Have a great Wednesday.

WEEK 5 RECAP

Here is your recap of week 5.
Let's see how I did!

Buffalo at Chicago
Look Losman to look lost, and BAD!
Yep. 115 yards, 1 TD and THREE interceptions? That's not just bad, that's BAD!
Look for Grossman to continue a great year, and he'll hit Berrian again...for at least one!
Yes. Grossman was good again with only 182 and 2 TDs, and 1 was to Berrian.
Pete's Pick = CHI
You gotta know it wasn't my homery ways that made me pick Chicago, it was sanity. Da'Bears are just looking great right now...hopefully this can continue when they play some good teams.
1-0

Cleveland at Carolina
Look for Frye to Edwards and Winslow to be the only working O for the Browns.
Wrong. Phil Dawson was the only working O for the Browns, but I did call that in my picks.
Look for Smith to play again, and we know what happens when he does.
What happens? They win!
Pete's Pick = CAR
What's up with Foster? I thougth he was on the outs just a couple of weeks ago, and now he's looking great! Anyway, I asked what the Browns had...my response? Phil Dawson. He was the only O they had.
2-0

Detroit at Minnesota
Look for Kevin Jones to get it done AGAIN! I can't believe this guy was on the WW!
Absolutely not! He was the worst of the worst this week with 8 yards!
Look for Chester Taylor to rebound NICELY!
YES! 123 yards was a nice way to get things back on track!
Pete's Pick = MIN
Neither Johnson or Jones had the games I thought they would have, but I still picked it right. I thought it was a done deal for the Lions until they let the Vikes score 23 unanswered points in the 4th!
3-0

Miami at New England
Look for Ronnie Brown to continue to be on the verge of being a bust!
Push. Sure he got a TD, but only 39 yards? Come on man!
Look the Pats running game to be the staple again.
Naw. Neither RB got it done. Maroney's 38 yards on 18 carries was pretty bad!
Pete's Pick = NE
Well looks like the dog-log didn't even get to play in this one. It also appears that Harrington will get the start next week too. How bad are things when Harrington is an upgrade?
4-0

St. Louis at Green Bay
Look for a shootout...and Holt for 2 scores.
No, and No. Not the shootout I was looking for, and Holt only managed 1.
Look for Jennings to continue to be Favre's favorite target.
Yes sir. 5 rec, 105 yards, and 1 TD...led the team in all receiving lines.
Pete's Pick = STL
I thought they would score a combined 60 points, and that everyone was going to shine, but it didn't work out that way. Everyone did pretty good (except Morency), but nobody really stood out...except Herron, who filled in nicely when Morency got pulled.(106 and a TD)
5-0

Tampa Bay at New Orleans
Look for an ugly game behind a scared QB and an injured RB!
Nope! Gradkowski looked surprisingly good with 2 TDs and 225 yards. Meanwhile Williams ripped off 111 rushing.
Look for Colston to get it done...again...duh!
No. Colston only got 38, but he'll bounce back.
Pete's Pick = NO
The Bucs did a LOT better than I thought they would. Can Gradkowski keep it up? If so, Tampa Bay may be a playoff team....next year.
6-0

Tennessee at Indianapolis
Look for White to get some serious playing time...I think the winds of change are blowing.
No. Henry just won't go away. 19 carries for 123 yards...White only got 8 carries.
Look for Harrison and Wayne to both hit for 6.
Nailed it. Manning has been spreading the love, but when it's time to get it done he's got to look for these two.
Pete's Pick = IND
"Huge game for all the Colts." That's what I said....hmmm. Did anyone see such a close game coming? I didn't think so. Classic case of looking too far ahead, but at least they escaped with a win.
7-0

Washington at N.Y. Giants
Look for the Redskins to keep it close riding Portis...until he pulls himself out of the game.
Nope. Portis (just like the rest of the team) couldn't get anything going.
Look for the Giants to play with some urgency, and Shockey to get involved big-time.
NO! Urgency? Yes. Shockey? No....1 reception for 13 yards.
Pete's Pick = NYG
The Giants played well...is their D that good? We shall see. The Redskins just aren't that good. I've never been a Brunell fan...he comes out one week and looks like superman, and then comes out looking like Bettle Bailey.
8-0

Kansas City at Arizona
Look for Huard to actually be a decent fantasy option this week.
Nailed IT! Too bad no one was brave enough to start him. 288 yards 2 TDs and 0 INTS? Solid!
Look for Leinart to start and ALL of the Cardinals fantasy value to drop...a lot.
No. He actually looked pretty good...even marching them down at the end of the game...remember what the Chiefs did to Denver's O?
Pete's Pick = KC
I got this game right, but things didn't play out the way I thought they would. First of all, like I said, Leinart looked a lot better than I thought he would. Because of this, the game was a lot close than I thought it would be...o well...a W is a W.
9-0

N.Y. Jets at Jacksonville
Look for Barlow's consecutive TD games to come to an end...but not Cotchery's.
WRONG. The entire Jets team couldn't find the endzone....U-G-L-Y.
Look for this Jones-Drew kid to do well again....watch him.
Yes SIR! 59 yards....decent, but add 2 TDs and this kid's stock is rising...if he's available you might want to snag him.
Pete's Pick = NYJ
It's bad enough to pick a game wrong, but when the team you pick loses 41-0??? That's just SAD! The Jets look plain horrible!!! The WHOLE team...everyone. I defy you to find a bright spot in this game for Jets fans...except maybe a higher draft pick!
9-1

Oakland at San Francisco
Look for the ugliest team in the NFL, but Jordan and Moss both get one.
No. Ugliest team? Yes, but while Moss did get his TD Jordan did not.
Look for Gore and Bryant to get back on track...and look for Gore NOT to fumble this
game...PLEASE!!
Yes! Thank you! No TDs for Gore, but 134 yards was nice. More importantly ZERO fumbles....this will definately help him keep that starting job.
Pete's Pick = SF
This game wasn't even as close as the 20-34 score would tell you. Here you have two bad teams going in two differant directions....the Niners are actually getting respectable...while the Radiers are a laughing stock.
10-1

Dallas at Philadelphia
Look for a circus, and a nice day for all 4 of the Cowboy's main men.
NO. The only main man who had a nice day was Jones...122 all purpose yards.
Look for injuries to hurt McNabb's game...and cost the Eagles.
Nope! I forgot about Hank Baskett!! How could I make such a mistake???
Pete's Pick = DAL
I either didn't give McNabb (and Baskett) enough credit, or I gave the Cowboys (and Bledsoe) too much credit. I'm just glad I could here about TO in PHI all week long, and then get to watch him drop a huge 45 yards on his former team.....worthless.
10-2

Pittsburgh at San Diego
Look for the bye week to have helped Roethlisberger...a TON.
NO!!!! I think the kid may be done....at least for the year....maybe forever. He just doesn't have it anymore.
Look for Gates to actually have some decent output.
Yep. 55 yards and a TD? Decent.
Pete's Pick = PIT
I really thought Roethlisberger to bounce back this week, but no. He's had a rough 8 months, so it might take him longer to get back to it than we thought. Not a stellar game for anyone, especially LT who only managed 36 yards rushing....he's going to have to do better than that.
10-3

Baltimore at Denver
Look for not much offensive numbers...especially for Jam Lewis...and actually the entire running game of both teams.
Sort of. Low O game for both teams, but while Lewis was held Tatum rambled off 92 yards...not bad.
Look for Walker to continue to put up some decent numbers...if he can keep holding on to the ball!
Is 63 yards decent? Not really...just no O in this game to speak of.
Pete's Pick = DEN
I hate to say it, but I TOLD YOU SO! Baltimore just hasn't beat anyone all that great this year, and Denver exposed them. When your starting QB is Jake Plummer you will lose if you are playing a Super Bowl caliber team....the Ravens just aren't.
Final week total:
11-3

Again, all in all not that bad.
I should become a weather man....it's all just guessing.
Hope you had a good weekend....unless you played me!
See you 2morrow with some Quick Hits!

Week 5 Pros and Cons

Why do we play this game?
Is it really worth the aggravation?
This is the 2nd week I've won in my TD only league, but it feels like a loss....I haven't even broken 20 points yet!
Anyway, here are you week 5 pros and cons:

PROS:
QB- Donovan McNabb (PHI)
This guy has done nothing, but produce #s!
He keeps things going with another huge week gaining 354 passing yards, 2 passing TDs, 0 INTs and a rushing TD! This guy is carrying fantasy football teams on his shoulders. No Stallworth? No problem. He just keeps getting it done.

RB- Deuce McAllister (NO)
123 yards and a TD? Pretty impressive. McAllister broke off 100+ yards for the first time this year and got into the endzone for the 4th time. McAllister had a 57 yard run, and his TD score was on a 24 yard run. His AVG per carry was almost double his previous season best. (4.3 / 8.2)

WR- Hank Baskett (PHI)
Who??? Going into today this guy had 4 receptions for 60 yards. Today he caught only 3 passes, but tallied 112 yards and a score. Is Hank Baskett(who?) this good, or could an on-fire McNabb make me look like an AllPro? Probably option 2, but I'm sure someone will snatch him up and wait for this to happen again....don't hold your breath.

CONS:
QB- Chad Pennington (NYJ)
What in the world happened? I thought the Jags D was slipping a little, and I thought Pennington was in a groove. The Jags threw off Chad's groove to the tune of 71 yards passing and 3 INTS!! This was by far his worst outing thus far. He thre more INTs today than he has in the previous 4 weeks. Putting up 0 TDs also didn't help his cause. If you were counting on another solid game from Chad, you were dissappointed to say the least.

RB- Kevin Jones (DET)
OUCH! What else can you say? When Marques Tuiasosopo (Oakland's back up QB) racks up more rushing yards on one attempt (9) than you rack up with 10 attempts (8) you know you've had a bad day at the office. After scoring 3 TDs and 174 yards over the past two weeks, Jones came out looking absolutely flat. His 0.8 yards per carry was disgusting. He could have taken the hand-off, fell forward and got more than 0.8 yards! What was he doing?

WR- Terrell Owens (DAL)
Sure there were plenty of other WRs who produced less than TO, but those other WRs weren't on my stinking TV all week! Game of the year, TO coming back to Philly, what's going to happen???? Nothing! I can't put all of this on TO, as it seemed Bledsoe wasn't really looking his way too much, and when he did throw to him the passes were not good. The game might have been decent, but the fact that I was force fed this story (or lack of story) left a bad taste in my mouth before the game even kicked off....the fact that TO had 0 receptions for a good chunk of the game only made it worse. TO shows up, the fans boo, a game is played, someone wins...THERE WAS NO HUGE STORY! Morons.

Well if you had some pros on your team you're probably sitting pretty.
If these cons were in your lineup, you're either already accepting the L, or you're sweating out a close one.
Either way, we'll see you 2morrow with our week 5 recaps!

Pete's Picks....week FIVE!!!!!!

Week 5, just two days away!
The weeks just seem to be slipping away, and so does my sanity....do I start Gore over Maroney? Is Westbrook going to actually play this week, or is he just in the NFL to make me cry? Are Fitgerald and Boldin going to stink now that the rookie has taken over? These are the questions that keep me up at night(day).
Anyway, here are my picks for week 5:

Bills @ Bears
Hmmm. Where to start...let's start with Losman...he stinks! He has shown flashes of upper-mediocrity, but I don't think he has what it takes to get something done against the stingy Bears D...remember Hasselbeck? Besides, I want the Bears undefeated when I get to see them next Monday night! Bears romp!
CHI

Browns @ Panthers

Has Charlie Frye been getting it done? Sort of. Is Reuben Droughns still a waste of space where a running back should be? Yes. The Browns passing game isn't terrible, but what else do they have??? Phil Dawson? The Panthers have two healthy RBs who could start for probably half of the other teams in the leauge....add to that the fact that Smith is off the injury report, and the Panthers are back in action!
CAR

Lions @ Vikings

I don't like John Kitna....just don't like him. Sure he's a partially decent QB, but he's too pale. For that reason alone the Lions lose. I'm thinking the Lions and the Raiders will have to play a tie-breaker at the end of an 0-16 season to see who gets the #1 pick in the draft....not that it will matter because the Lions will take a WR who would have slipped to #23. Again, Chester Taylor will rebound and have a big game...and Brad Johnson will look like Brett Favre...that's what the Lions do for QBs.
MIN

Dolphins @ Patriots

Some people said the change of scenery would do Culpepper a world of good. After seeing his performance over the past 4 weeks I decided to do a little experiment of my own. I went to my back yard and found one of Badger's (my pet dauchshund) dog-logs...(if you don't know what a dog-log is let me know and I will find a picture for you)...I took said dog-log and decided to give it a change of scenery. I took the dog-log to the beach....still a dog-log. I took the dog-log to the mall...still a dog-log. This helped my come to a scientific conclusion...it doesn't matter where you put a dog-log...it will still be a dog-log.
NE

Rams @ Packers

What happens when two NFL teams play and forget to bring their defenses? You will see on Sunday. These two teams will score a combined 60 EASY! Mark it down. I think both QBs get 3 and both RBs get 1...add in about 10 FGs and you have yourself an old fashioned shoot-out! Whoever gets the ball last wins! I think the Rams are going to eek out the win 78-75!
STL

Bucs @ Saints

Just a few years ago(or even just one year ago) this would have been a no-brainer...TB all the way...NOW it's still a no-brainer, but it will be the Saints all the way this year. TB's rookie QB, and gimpy RB won't be able to get anything done against the surprising NO D. Bush still won't hit the endzone, but what does he care? He was smart and drafted LJ!
NO

Titans @ Colts

Want to see a preview of this week's game? Find a group of pitbulls and throw a poodle in the mix. Poor VY...we've all seen the highlight of him scampering into the endzone against USC, but I wonder what will we remeber after this week? Young is again getting thrown into the fire, but can you blame Fisher? He's probably out as head-coach after this season, so he might as well kill the kid on the way out the door. Huge game for all of the Colts.
IND

Redskins @ Giants

This should actually be a tight game. Now that Portis is healthy and shaken off all the cob-webs he is taking this team up a notch. Brunell needs Portis to perform...if he is going to find his WRs. I don't blame Brunell, I blame his vertically challenge receivers....I think the Ewok team has taller WRs. Things aren't looking too bad for the Giants either...sure they're 1-2, but they have a tough tough schedule. I think the Giants win, and while I'm at it here are some more weekly predictions for the G-men. Shockey says some stupid, Shockey either apologizes or doesn't, Shockey gets another tatoo....and some turf toe.
NYG

Cheifs @ Cardinals

I don't know what to think of the Cheifs...they look like garbage against the Bengals and the Broncos, and then they look great against the Niners....O wait I get it....they're losing to good teams and winning against AAA teams. Good for KC they are facing another minor league football team this week. I would love to sit here and tell you how Leinart is going to be fine with all of those weapons around him....I really would. I have Fitz in one league and Boldin in another, and I'm not afraid to tell you that I'm scared! The Cardinal's line isn't going to protect Matt any better than they protect Kurt. I say we start a pool on who lives longer; Young or Leinart.
KC

Jets @ Jaguars

This is another game I like. The Jets are looking surprisingly good. Pennington comes out year after year...loses an arm....then he comes back with avengence. I thought after the last injury he was done, but obviously he had other plans. I think the running game will decide this game. If Fred Taylor doesn't get hurt, the Jets win a close one. If he does get hurt and Maurice comes in, the Jags win a not-so-close one. I really like this kid. I'm going against the grain and picking Taylor to stay healthy for yet another week, and the Jets to get the win....the absence of Matt Jones might be the deciding factor.
NYJ

OAK @ SF

Instead of watching this game you can come to my house and watch me and my 8 year old play some football...the talent level might be about the same. I was on the 49ers bandwagon until they got beat like my dog when he leaves us "presents" on the carpet. I expected to find the entire SF team under my couch shivering just like Badger does. Who knows which Niners team shows up? The one who scored no less than 20 points in the first 3 weeks, or the one who scored ZERO against the Cheifs? Oh that's right...it the Raiders...it won't matter. Oakland loses -3 to 0.
SF

Cowboys @ Eagles

Oh boy do I love a circus! Don't get me wrong...I love ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, ESPNHD, ESPN.com, NFLN etc.....but NOT when they are all talking about the same thing!!! Especially when that thing is a horse that they have already beaten to death! Ok, I get it, T.O. is a spoiled, arrogant, insecure, self-absorbed, moody person....but who isn't? There is a reason I don't watch "As the World Turns"...I hate soap operas! I hate drama! This is dramabowl 2006...get sucked into it if you want to! As far as the game goes...the Cowboys are going to win. Is it a garuntee? No, I learned my lesson from Roy Williams. The injuries that are plauging the Eagles are going to be too much for them to overcome. If both teams were full strength I would definately go with Philly, but Westbrook? INJ. Brown? INJ. Stallworth? INJ. Even if all 3 of them play, they are not at 100%.
DAL

Steelers @ Chargers

Sometimes team's bye-weeks happen just when they need them most. Did the bye-week help Roethlisberger shake all the rust off? Probably. Will it matter? Who knows. This is one of those games I hate picking. Sure the Chargers have looked good (except for last week when they lost to an undefeated Ravens team), but who have they looked good against? Tennessee and Oakland...YUCK! While the Steelers have lost to the Bengals and the Jags with Ben at QB. This game will tell us all we need to know about both of these teams, but that does me no good right now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Chargers 2 wins mean really not much and give the Steelers the benefit of the doubt.
PIT

Ravens @ Broncos

I can't stand Denver fans. Where are the calls for Cutler now? Just wait...they'll be coming. Sure he looked good against the Pats two weeks ago, but do you think he's going to get it done against the Raven's D? Probably not...but he will do enough to win this game. But Baltimore is undefeated you say? Hmmm...let's look closer...they have beaten:
Tampa Bay (0 wins)
Oakland (0 wins)
Cleveland (1 win) and they almost lost this game.
San Diego (2 wins...against OAK and TEN!) and they had to come from behind to win this game!
I think we've been smoke-screened by the Ravens perfect season...Plummer survives to play another week, but the whines of Denver are never that far away......listen carefully....can you hear them??

There it is...lock it up...championship.

Have a good weekend...see you Monday!
