NFL Recap Week TWO!!!

Two weeks are now in the books baby!
I'm now 2-0 in both of my leagues, and in my TD only league (Turf Burger) I was ranked 3 in the nation. After this week's win maybe I can claim the #1 spot!

Now that the week's action is done, let's see how I did with my WTLF predictions and weekly picks!

Week 2

HOU @ IND
Look for Houston to play catchup all day, making Lundy a bust this week.
Nailed IT! Houston was down all day, and all 3 RBs were busts. Lundy was the worst of the three only getting 25 yards!
Look for another solid day from Andre Johnson.
Push. Moulds actually had 3 more yards, but Johnson got that garbage time TD...decent day.
Look for the Colts running game to at least double their yardage from a week ago.
"Championship" This week's 119 yards from Rhodes and Addai more than doubled their week 1 output.
Look for Indy to drop a league high score this week.
RIGHT ON! The Colts 43 points led the league this week!

Look for the Lions offense to be kept out of the endzone.
Wrong. Kitna did rush in a TD giving DET their 7 points, but they were so close to scoring 6783 points it isn't even funny
Look for Roy Williams to be held to less yards then he had last week (36).
NO! My homery ways led me to make this pick. Williams actually got 71 yards, but he still looked like an idiot....and he's still talking!
Look for Grossman to be back to form this week.
Super Wrong!...but I'm glad....can he do it against a real team?
Look for Thomas Jones to run better this week.
BEST PICK OF THE WEEK! Week one = 63 yards. Week two = 64 YARDS! Boy am I goooooood!

Look for Winslow to get another TD. Can he finally get it together?
Nope. NO passing TDs from the Browns in this one.
Look for Droughns to get dropped from a lot of fantasy teams after week 2.
Maybe. 32 yards...bad, but he did hit the endzone. I just do not like this guy.
Look for Palmer to rebound nicely from last week's performance.
O Yeah. 352 yards and 2 TDs? Even with the 2 INTs this was a good game.
Look for Chad Johson to hit the endzone, and bust out with a new dance....and maybe a fine.
Push! He did hit the endzone, but the chicken dance? Come on Chad...the chicken dance is for Saturdays!

Look for Delhomme to continue to struggle without his go-to-guy.
RIGHT! 181 yards and no TDs. This guy better start begging Smith to return!
Look for more yards for Foster and a TD this week.
NO WAY! Foster looked bad, and in came Williams...could this be the beggining of the end for Foster?
Look for Troy Williamson to be the best WR on the field, especially if he can stop dropping the pill.
NO, but CLOSE! Four yards less than Keyshawn, but still another solid outing with 102 yards. I picked this kid up in both of my leagues.
Look for Chester Taylor to take a dip in his output from last week.
Not really. 88 and TD week one. 113 and no TD week 2. He did take a dip as far as points, but not in the yardage department.

BUF @ MIA
Look for Losman to break 200 yards and a TD.
NO. He did get the TD, but 83 yards???
Look for McGahee's output to be less than last week.
Wrong! 91 is more than 70....right?
Look for C-pep to get it done without the meltdown this week.
VERY wrong. Should we throw in the towel on this guy yet? No probably not, but maybe soon.
Look for another 2 TDs from Ronnie Brown.
Wrong....you can look for another 2 TDs, but you won't find them this week!

Look for Bush and McAllister to hit paydirt.
NO. I think I got a little to bold on some of these picks. McAllister took both TDs for himself. Bush looked....off.
Look Horn to have the 2nd best receiving day on his team.
Wrong...again! I thought Bush would out-do him this week.
Look for another solid day from A. Green.
Push. 42 yards rushing, 48 yards receiving....decent.
Look for Favre to throw more INTs than TDs.....again.
I am stinking up the place!!! 3 TDs...1 INT.

Naw. They didn't have huge games, but they did score the two receiving TDs.

Look for another goose-egg from the Raiders.
NO goose-egg here, they dropped a big 6 on the Ravens.
That's it....no points....what else can I say?
Look for a DF TD from BAL.
NO, but the DF did score 2 points.
Look for Jamal Lewis to continue his comeback.
No. 70 yards....not great, but at least he's getting something done.

Look for Caddy's back spasms to limit his output big-time.
YES. 37 yards? Time to start worrying.
Look for Simms to get more yards than last week, but still no TDs.
Nailed it! 313 yards this week, but now he's got 3 INTs per game with still no TDs.
Look for TB to go 0-2.
YEP. They just have no weapons right now.
Look for Vick to run in one and hit Crumpler for the other.
no. He did run one in, but his passing TD went to McCrary....who?

Look for the QBs to combine for 500+ yards.
452 yards.....close, but not quite.
Look for Boldin and Fitz to get it done again this weekend.
They actaully slumped this week, neither broke 70 yards or a TD.
Look for Alexander to shake the Madden curse this week.
89 yards and a TD. He can do better, but at least he's improving.
Look for a league high combined points....shoot-out baby!
Not really the game I was hoping for. 31 combined points...10 other games and 5 other teams had more than 31.

Look for Steven Jackson to keep it up....not another 121 yards though.

This whole game was horrible...except for LJ.
Look for Larry Johnson to get a ton of carries, but still struggle.
No way. He got the carries, but 127 yards to go with it.
Look for less output form the Bellboys.
Yeah. They both took a hit and dipped this week.
Look for Javon Walker to have the best WR #s on the field...now stop dropping the stinking ball!
Yeah, yeah dog! 79 yards led all WRs...pathetic!

Look for big running days for the NE backs again.
yes. Dillon, 85 and a TD. Maroney, 65 and a TD. I can't wait for Maroney to take over!
Look for nothing special from Brady.
Yep. 220, a TD and an INT. I'm not sold on this team making the playoffs.
Look for Pennington to have another good game.
Yes sir. 306 yards...2 TDs and one INT. If he can stay healthy this team may actually have some fantasy worthy players. I picked up Cotchery(121 and a TD) just in case.
Look for this game to actually be close.
Just a TD difference. A year ago this would have been a stomping.

Look for Collins to do better this week...but,
Terrible. He got anohter 2 INTs, but instead of 223 yards he got 57....and he's actually going to get another start???
Look for TEN to have as much trouble finding the endzone as I do benching 100 lbs.
I'm taking this one. Young got a garbage TD to Bennett when the score was 33-0
Look for Tomlinson to break 100 and a TD....or two.
Right! 71 Rushing, 51 Receiving, 2 TDs AND his backup dropped 138 rushing to go with it!
Look for Rivers to look servicable again.
YES! 235 and a TD. As long as this guy can keep from losing the game for his team the Chargers are going to run away with this division!

O yeah. Washington is hurtin'.
Look for Brunell to continue to struggle despite a good group of WRs.
I don't care what anyone says...he has the WRs...but still only managed 197 and an INT.
Look for Bledsoe to rebound nicely.
237 and 2 TDs? Nice.
Look for TO to get 2?
Two what? Two points? nope he got 1. Two receptions? close, he got 3....and now he's out. I'm so glad I passed on this guy.

Look for Big Ben to have a bad game.
141 and 2 INTs. Why does it seem like everyone knew it was a bad idea to start this guy....except for the one who actually started him.
Look for a low scoring game.
Called it again! 9-0.....not flashy, but a good DF game.
Look for Fred Taylor to struggle.
Not really. 92 yards against this D is nothing to sneeze at.
Wilford will outdo Matt Jones this week....mark it down!

Week 2 Results:
QB- P. Manning- 400 yds and 3 TDs. Best in the league.
RB1- LaDanian Tomlinson- 71rush/51rec and 2 TDs. If he would have played the whole game imagine the stat line!
RB2- Shuan Alexander- 89rush/1TD. Not his best, but improved.
WR1- Larry Fitzgerald- 59rec. Dipped this week.
WR2- Antonio Bryant- 131rec/1TD. If this guy is somehow available...pick him up NOW!
TE- Kellen Winslow Jr.- 42rec. Got a little too excited after week 1 solid outing.
K- Jeff Reed- The Steelers shutout? Bad call.
DF- BAL- Held OAK to 6 points with 3 INTs and 3 Fumbles? SOLID.


All in all I don't think I did too bad this week.
I would have done better making predictions without my homery ways and emotions.....maybe next time.
